Internationaler Umweltkongress in Wuppertal
„Saubere Umwelt, Menschliche Gesundheit, unsere Zukunft“ – über 1.000 Forschende aus aller Welt tauschen sich vom 6. bis 10. September an der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal über vielversprechende und innovative Lösungen für die drängenden Fragen globaler Umweltverschmutzung aus.
Globale Umweltfragen gemeinsam angehen: Dafür setzen sich über 1.000 Umweltwissenschaftler*innen aus über 80 Ländern im Rahmen der „International Conference on the Biogeochemistry of Trace Elements“, kurz ICOBTE, ein. Sie findet alle zwei Jahre an verschiedenen Standorten der Welt statt. Die kommende feiert in zweierlei Hinsicht Premiere: erstmalig in Deutschland und erstmals in Kombination mit der ICHMET, der „International Conference of Heavy Metals“.

"Clean Environment, Human Health, our Future" – more than 1.000 researchers will exchange promising and innovative solutions for the pressing issues of global environmental pollution at the University of Wuppertal from 6 to 10 September 2023.
Tackling global environmental issues together: This is what more than 1,000 environmental scientists from over 80 countries are working towards at the „International Conference on the Biogeochemistry of Trace Elements (ICOBTE)“. It takes place every two years at various locations around the world. The upcoming one, from 6 to 10 September 2023 at the University of Wuppertal, will be a premiere in two respects: for the first time in Germany and for the first time in combination with ICHMET, the "International Conference of Heavy Metals".
