ChemCologne is an initiative aimed at further developing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the chemical region and making it even better known to domestic and foreign investors. ChemCologne is promoted and supported by the chemical companies in the region, the Employers' Association of the Rhineland Chemical Industry, the City of Cologne, other cities and districts in the region, the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Cologne District Government, the universities in the region, the business development agency of the state of NRW.INVEST, and the Mining, Chemical and Energy Industrial Union. The various partners and members from the chemical industry, public institutions as well as research and university institutions combine a wide range of competencies to form a network. The various events organized by ChemCologne on a regular basis offer members the opportunity to establish contacts, exchange ideas and, in the best case scenario, exploit synergies.
