The University of Wuppertal emancipates itself from the traditional self-image of two-dimensional teaching and research and takes its place in civil society. Thus, the University of Wuppertal has the common good in mind besides the good of its individual members. Accordingly, the contents of the Mission Society as part of the Third Mission are firmly anchored in the mission statement and transfer strategy of the University of Wuppertal.
