Short note: Handouts for the use of generative AI in studying and teaching at the BUW published
The UniService Digitalisation Teaching (UDL) has been dealing with questions relating to the use of AI in teaching for some time now and actively supports developments in this area from a higher education didactics perspective. Therefore, the two handouts - each focussed on the interest groups of students and lecturers - probably do not answer all, but nevertheless the typical and most important questions relating to the use of generative AI or AI tools in studying and teaching.
The handouts were created on behalf of the Digitalisation of Teaching Steering Committee and with the help of the Leitbild Lehre workshop "Generative AI in studying and teaching". The plan is to regularly adapt the handouts to legal, technical and didactic developments. They are therefore "living" documents - hence the external format of a website.
The handouts can be found on the UDL website and can be easily found via the menu bar of the website or even more easily via this direct link to the handouts. Further information material on the topic of AI in studying and teaching has been collected on the UDL website "Information and training opportunities in the field of AI" since this semester.
