***There are no outgoing consultation hours at the Student Service Centre (SSC) during the lecture-free period.***

Questions about your stay abroad? - Then please contact us at teamoutgoing[at]uni-wuppertal.de

Dear students,

Please note that the International Office does not offer personal initial counselling!

In order to provide you with the best possible targeted and individualised information, we have developed a three-stage counselling concept (german only) counselling concept.

Step 1 In regular information events, we provide all interested students - in digital form - with the essential basics and options on the topic of "study abroad"
Step 2 Participation is a prerequisite for all further counselling sessions, which currently take place mainly by telephone.
Step 3 Only then can you make appointments for face-to-face counselling sessions.

You will find the log-in details for participating in the information events in the Moodle course for the corresponding event.

Short stays abroad

Going abroad in the summer and doing something for your studies at the same time?

Summer schools make this possible. This is a special form of study that was originally common at US and Canadian universities in particular. There, the summer months from May to September are often not lecture-free, but the universities offer numerous courses from their regular programme, which usually last five to six weeks.

This is a great way to have fun while learning. Many universities around the world now offer summer schools that allow you to study a particular subject in depth or discover a new area of interest.
In this event, we will show you various options and inform you about the application process and corresponding funding opportunities.

Date: Wednesday, 08.01.2025, 4-6 p.m.
