Supporters of the university visit Vorwerk

The Friends and Alumni Association of the University of Wuppertal - FABU e.V. used the event to recruit additional members from the Bergisch economy. In addition to the citizens of the region and the graduates of the University of Wuppertal, the companies in the three cities are important supporters. Interested new members accepted the invitation from FABU board member Hauke Pasch (board member of Vorwerk-Elektrowerke) to first take a look at Thermomix production on site and then cook together in small groups using the Thermomix appliances in the Vorwerk test kitchen.
"FABU supports a variety of projects at the University of Wuppertal and sees itself as a bridge between research and business," says Jens Schmidt, Chairman of FABU, "and if this bridge is well-seasoned and warms the stomach, then the path towards each other becomes all the easier."
