"Used items can be sold and new favourite items can be found," says the organising team, who want to use the flea market not only to promote sustainability but also to encourage students to get to know each other.

Anyone studying at the University of Wuppertal who is interested in a free sales table can register online via the booking website. Visitors, including university employees and guests, can simply drop by to browse. Who knows, you might even find a Christmas present or two among the offers.

In cooperation with the student union (AStA), a book swap will also take place for the first time during the flea market. Visitors can bring up to ten books and swap them for new reading material.
