The StuPa

The Student Parliament is the highest decision-making body of the student body at the University of Wuppertal. It is made up of 21 members of the political university groups. The StuPa is elected by the university's students every two semesters, i.e. once a year, and then meets to elect the chair and the financial officers of the student union (AStA), to appoint the student parliament committees and to decide on the student body's budget.

In addition, it decides on fundamental matters of the student body and thus forms the most important voice for the interests of the student body of the University of Wuppertal. The meetings of the student parliament are public and take place at regular intervals on the AStA level (ME.04) on the Grifflenberg campus.
