Circular Insights Days in Wuppertal: Developing ideas for the circular economy together
Over three days, the participants work in teams to develop solutions to a previously selected task. The motto is: be creative, think outside the box and develop ideas for the future as a team together with the companies. Experts pass on their knowledge on the topic of the circular economy so that it can flow directly into the group work. Workshops on innovation methods and design thinking will also be held. At the end of the event, all teams will present their ideas to a jury.
This year's case sponsors are the Living Lab NRW, the Pina Bausch Centre, Krefeld.Business and Gebr.
Students, graduates and young professionals from all disciplines are invited to take part. Participants receive a certificate at the end of the event. Vegan and vegetarian catering will be available throughout the three days.
The days at a glance
The event will take place in three locations that show how existing things can be given a new lease of life: With its industrial look, the old glassworks on Nordbahntrasse conveys an extraordinary atmosphere and inspires creative thinking. In the neighbouring Living Lab NRW, where eight climate-friendly and sustainably constructed houses are exhibited as models, the implementation of circular action and construction can be observed directly. What is special here is that the groups will be able to work in the houses and benefit from the innovative and special environment. On day three, the Pina Bausch Centre offers another location with original flair, which will be redesigned as a cultural centre with aspects of the circular economy in the coming years.
