Strengthening democracy education - promoting social learning
The training programme is aimed at educational professionals, student teachers and volunteers who want to teach socio-political topics in a practical way. In eight weekend seminars, participants are prepared to creatively and effectively organise social and political education processes in their work with children, young people and adults.

Content and focus
In addition to theoretical foundations, the training programme offers practical units that provide an opportunity for participants to try out what they have learned on their own. With many practical exercises and methods, participants delve deep into socially relevant topics.

Main topics:

  • Individuality in the group & group processes
  • Self-perception and perception of others
  • Conflict resolution and civil society
  • Democracy and civil courage
  • Social courage, migration and flight
  • Anti-racist education, bullying and right-wing extremism
  • Sustainability

Registration and participation

Participation is free of charge, the number of participants is 20 to 30 people. When registering, a brief description of the educational activity is requested. Further information and registration on the website of the Berg-Mark Regional Office for Work and Life.
