The International Office of the University of Wuppertal together with the International Students Team (I.S.T.) invites you to a guided visit to the Sculpture Park Waldfrieden in Wuppertal.

With the Waldfrieden Sculpture Park, the city of Wuppertal has a unique place to experience culture and nature. On the heights between the Wuppertal districts of Barmen and Elberfeld, internationally renowned artist Tony Cragg has created an exhibition space for art in an idyllic wooded area.

In addition to Tony Cragg's sculptures, the extensive park houses works by renowned artists such as Markus Lüpertz, Jaume Plensa, Richard Deacon, Eva Hild and Erwin Wurm, as well as new works by Thomas Virnich, Hede Bühl and Per Kirkeby.

A visit to the Waldfrieden Sculpture Park promises a special experience of art presentation that blends into the natural landscape. A guided tour will provide interesting facts about the history of the site and the initiator of the sculpture park, Tony Cragg.

Organisational information

Registration until 22nd of April at the latest at the Student Service Centre (SSC), room G.08.16

Monday 09.00 - 12.00
Tuesday 10.00 - 12.00
Thursday 09.00 - 12.00 h and 14.00 - 16.00 h

Alternatively, you can register for the event at the International Students Team (I.S.T.).

The personal contribution of 6.00 Euro must be paid in cash and appropriately at the time of registration.

Please remember to bring food and drinks if necessary. There is no accident liability insurance for the activity provided by the Bergische Universität Wuppertal.

Should the event not be able to take place, the own amount paid will be refunded. In case of cancellation less than one week before the event, or in case of no-show, no refund will be made.
